How can I make my teeth whiter?

  • (Continued) I was planning on leaving hydrogen peroxide, the stuff my mom used to bleach dark hairs, on my teeth for about 5 - 10 minutes, but she told me it will burn my mouth, what are the risks and can I avoid them if any? If that's not an option how can I make them whiter, as well as brushing, any home remedies? And how long does it take for effects to show?

i use Arm and Hammer toothpaste. Its a whitening toothpaste with baking soda and peroxide in it. Maybe you should use something like that. My dentist recommended it. It doesn't burn my mouth or anything. I'm also trying out Teethwhite home kit http://www.teethwhite.co.uk/whiten.asp i would have went for the laser treatment as its only £150 but because i've got a bridge and veneers it wasn't recommended. So maybe give that a go? Tip - Don't brush teeth too hard or alot as this is just brushing the enamel away and ruining your teeth. Well, When you go to get your teeth cleaned and they are like all white and everything then all you have to do is by the arm & hammer teeth whitener stuff and keep putting it on every night before bed and then maybe after a week you should have very white teeth sometimes you can get an orthodontist to subscribe you a tube of fluoride.. hope i helped.
