What would I have to do to become an orthodontist?

  • I am currently a sophmore in highschool and i would really love to become an orthdontist when im older. Now i was wondering, what kind of things will i need to do to in order to become an orthodontist. For example, what classes should i take the rest of my highschool career, what colledges should i look into, what shoould i major in. Just basically the steps to becoming an orthodontist. Thank you very much.

    You have to keep your GPA up in high school. Go to a good college and get really good grades. Choose a science major (Molecular & Microbiology is a good choice). Go to dental school, then go through an orthodontist program after that. Good Luck you're going to be in school for a while, but it will be worth it!
