When do teeth stop growing?

Dentist said - My teeth wil stop growing when im 18!?

  • The dentist told me i have crossbite and deepbite and i really need braces or my teeth will STOP GROWING when im 18!! despite this my mother wont pay for them because she sais THEY ARE UNECESSARY even though my TEETH WILL stop growing when im 18!!! what do i do!?

    Don't know what to tell you sorry, am 14 and have over and under bite and might have to go through surgery in April :(, Just getting braces is not that bad believe me, you could also go to other orthodontists to get consultations, some dentists might tell you, you don't need it

The speed of tooth movement will decreases as the age increases..hence, its better to start your orthodontic treatment early in your life.! otherwise not at all a problem..! you can, even wear your brace in late 20's. By the way wat's your age now.??
