What do people think of people with front tooth gap?

  • I have a gap and i've heard that in african countries women knocked out thier front teeth to have one because it is considered sexy. I myself am horrified by it. I just think that when i talk to people all i see is them making fun of it or thinking im nasty. is there anyone else out there that agree or have a similar story like me?

    I had a gap between my two front teeth. it was probably about 2mm. not too big. i had it fixed. i was working for a dentist, and he put white filling material (bonding) between my two front teeth. He adds a little bit of bonding to both of the teeth, you still have room in between the two front teeth to floss. I love it! If your gap is too large, the dentist may not be able to completely close the gap, because that would make your two front teeth look too large. It all depends on what you think about it yourself. I closed my gap for me, not for anyone else. The cost today would probably be close to $400 to do it. No braces involved.

HEY, look at Madonna. She puts a fake filler in and out of her gap in the middle front teeth whenever it suits her need. There are alot of women celebs with gaps who do the same. It is said gaps mean a woman is sexual, fertile, intelligent, and talented. I belive it is so. Many women politicians have gaps or had them filled, I think the theory is correct. Of course that may mean there are alot of red-necks out there with undiscovered talent!!!! Some gaps are beautiful and unique, and even though it's hard, try to see yourself as special, as having something not everyone has and you will learn to love it.

I have a gap in my teeth that I used to hate when I was younger.. Now I love it! It gives me character, has been called 'cute' by various people, and without wanting to sound big headed it's never stopped me getting boys. Believe you are beautiful and the world will believe you are!

Not trying to be mean but if you're front tooth gap is really large (like you could stick a finger in between them) people do notice it. I have a friend who is obsessed by her gap and it is literally maybe a cm wide. She wants braces badly! I don't think it is that horrible at all. In some ways it can make a person look more dignified.
