Ds calibration problem?

Nitendo DS Problem? Not Starting? Battery problem?

• My nintendo Ds doesnt want to start up. It Shows its charged and then it turns off automatically like the battery died. Also when i put it to charge while turning it on it still did the same thing. So this gives me the hint that its kinda not the battery. Im not sure if its the battery that just doesn work anymore or if its because of what happened yesterday. Because yesterday My brother and me were playing with a water bottle and he acidently spilled some on the ds. It wasnt much. but he didnt clean it that much off right away. Could it be because of the water or is it something eles. Could it also be something i could fix by myself? Ive had the ds for a while now. There is another issue with the screen. (By now your probably thinking This is a pretty ghetto ds:P) The screen doesnt hold up by itself. Its basically all floppy. This is because my brother a while back droped it. It also turns the screen red. Like something wrong with the screen. Please help

  screw it...get a used DS at gamestop or something. The new 3DS should be coming out next year. so just wait for that. don't waste your money to buy anything new until then.
