Building a good yugioh Deck from dark emperor structure deck?

• I have just started playing the yugioh card game and i bought the dark emperor structure deck. I dueled my friend and got destroyed. I need suggestions on what cards to add to my deck to make it decent. i'm looking for cheap and easy cards to obtain. (that means i'm not paying 30 bucks for a single card) I need suggestions for cards that are specifically good in the dark emperor deck and cards that are effective in any deck. thanks
