How to be a winner or an alpha male?

In texas Hold'em, if two players each possess 2 pair, how is the winner determined?

• Does higher of the pair determine the winner? like Q,Q & 2,2, 9 (community card high) beat J,J & 6,6, 9 (community card high) or is this example a tie? Can the odd card in your hand dictate a winner? Lots of scenarios, is there a website that displays all possible ways to determine this conflict?

  In cases, of Two Pairs, whoever has a higher pair wins. In your case, the player with the queens will win. Example 1: Player 1: Q, 5 Player 2: Q, 2 Community: Q, J, J, 9, 6 Player 1's Hand: Q, Q, J, J, 9 Player 2's Hand: Q, Q, J, J, 9 In this case, it is a tie. The other card in both hands does not matter. In Poker, it is always about the best FIVE cards, regardless of where they come from. Example 2: Player 1's Hand: A, 2 Player 2's Hand: K, Q Community: A, K, Q, 2, 7 Player 1's Hand: A, A, 2, 2, K Player 2's Hand: K, K, Q, Q, A In this case, Player 1 wins because his pair of Aces in his hand of Two Pair trumps the other pairs in Player 2's hand.
