How To Create Realistic Fake Pokemon Cards?

Do the new Pokemon Legend cards count as Basic Pokemon?

• I had a little thought about it, since all the Legendary Pokemon are Basic since they have no evolution. i.e. Mewtwo, Moltres, Groudon, etc. So, say you have a card like the 'Call Energy' card which allows you to find two Basic Pokemon cards and put them on your bench. Would you be able to use that move to obtain your Legend card as they take two cards to create one? Or say you used some other card to simply find and obtain a Basic Pokemon card, would you be able to find one of the halves and add that to your hand? Would either ways work?

• Answer:

  The current Legend cards (Lugia, Ho-oh) are not considered Basic Pokemon so effects which target basic Pokemon (Call Energy, Pokemon Collector, Roseanne's) do not work on them. They also are not considered Evolved Pokemon which means they are still succeptable to such things as Mewtwo Lv.X and Machamp's "Take Out".
