Card Trick Help Please?

• Ok, the other day my uncle showed me a card trick and now I cant stop thinking about it. He gave me the deck of cards so I could pick one without him seeing it. When I picked the one I wanted, I gave it to him, but he couldnt see what card it was. He rubbed the middle and told me the what card it was...the color...the number...everything and he did it like a thousand times and I watched him closely to make sure he didnt look at the card or peaked...I even inspected the cards but there is no way he could tell what my card was but he did. I am really confused. : ( Could you please tell me how he did it. I would really appreciate it. : )

  He could have magician's cards. The cards usually have subtle differences between each other on the back of the cards. On the back of the cards are usually entricate designs that can easily hide subtle details. For example, to identify what type of card it is say a spade, the top right hand design may have a design that looks like a flower with 7 pedals, whereas the other corners had a design with a flower with 8 pedals. That is basically how he could be doing it.
