Can you buy iPhone apps from iTunes with an iTunes gift card?

Can you buy apps using iTunes gift card? And although the gift cards aren't available otside us can u redeem?

Buying the card in the US but redeeming it elsewhere..

Sorry my friend that is not allowed, if you bought that iTunes gift card in US, then you must use that in US too, I'm not very sure but I think it is.
