How to make a good gravekeeper deck?

Should I make a gravekeeper's deck or ojama deck?

  • Answer:

I think -_- is being slightly misleading, yes it's one of the top decks, but only relatively. I mean there are 100s of archetypes. But at the moment Gravekeepers are suffering quite a bit because of triple MST and Heavy Storm, although equally Ojama decks aren't too great either. Ojama decks are a lot more fun, but GK will beat them most times. As for making your GK deck, don't buy the Structure Deck, or at least not two of them. For your monsters you'll want: GK Descendant x 3 GK Recruiter x 3 GK Commandant x 3 GK Spy x 3 GK Assailant GK Guard BW - Gale Buying 2 of the Structure deck would get you 4 Spy, 4 Guard, 4 Assailant, 2 Descendant and 2 Commandant. So out of the monsters you want it gives you 9 out of the 15 monsters you'll want. You'll be able to buy them individually online for far cheaper than £20 I can promise you now. As for the spells you'll want: Necrovalley x 3 Royal Tribute x 2 GK Stele x 2 Pot Of Duality x 3 Wonder Wand x 2 MST x 2 Book Of Moon Dark Hole Out of which 2 Structure decks would get you the 3 Necrovalleys the MST's and the Book Of Moon. Finally for the traps you'll want: BTH/Solemn Warning x 2 Dimensional Prison x 2 Dark Bribe/Starlight Road x 2 (I personally prefer Starlight Road) Mirror Force Trap Dustshoot Solemn Judgment The Structure deck would get you the Mirror Force and nothing else. So yeah, definitely go with Gravekeepers over Ojamas, and run a build at least similar to the one I just listed, as alluring as some cards like GK Visionary, Rite Of Spirit, Caius The Shadow Monarch, GK Priest, etc. may seem, I could easily list a couple of reasons each why they'd be a far worse choice than any of the cards that I just listed. Good Luck with your new GK deck(:

I would make a gravekeeper deck, these days they are easy to build. Also, they are currently considered meta (1 of the top decks)...Ojama isn't!! They are much faster, and you can get most of the cards for it in the Marik Structure deck (I recomend buying 2 for $20).

I would say Ojama, but you would have to fusion some...
