  • What is the Magic the gathering online starter set for 10th edition, is that just a cd or is it actually a starter set with physical cards as well. Also can u get it in Australia?

    Magic Online is like any other Magic game. It uses the same cards that exist in physical form. You will not receive physical cards from Magic Online unless you have a complete set. Then you can trade those into WotC and get a full set of that set. It should be available all over the world so that gives you a chance to play against a lot of people. But you have to use real money to buy virtual cards. The packs are just like normal packs. The card prices themselves will vary. A "crap" rare in the physical world could be worth $50 (US) in the virtual world. The card that comes in mind would be New Frontier. It sucks as a physical card but it's hot in Magic Online. You are able to play against virtually anyone at anytime. There is always somebody online looking for a game, trade, whatever. To enter tournaments, you have to use tickets (buy or trade for them).
