How to play mobile java games on PC?

What do I need on my computer to play card games on yahoo with out it shutting down on me?

Card games, spades I have verison isp and I love to play spades. When I sign on to yahoo my pc takes forever to sign on to spades and then I try to click into a room and it takes forever and they boot me due to my pc lags. I also try to start a new room being the host of spades card game on yahoo and sometimes sometimes it allows me to start a game as a host. This has been a nightmare for me since I signed up with version. I have my pop ups unblocked is there something I need to d/l I also have d/loades java script. Please help if you can. I really enjoy playing card games such as spades. I am lost on why my pc freezes when I try to play spades Thank you and for anyone who enjoys card games as I do.
