How do I use the gold sticker that came with my logbook?

If a yugioh card has a gold sticker at the botom right hand corner and no "first addition" thing is it real???

  • At the bottom right hand corner of a yugioh card it usually has like a gold or silver sticker, if it has a gold sticker it usually says "first addtion" under the picture of the card, if it does have a gold sticker but doesnt say "first addtition" is it real????

    Well I have no idea about what the colored stickers are for but just because it doesn't say first edition doesn't mean its fake. I should take a look at all of my cards.

Most of them.. are real.. But others like the SDK really copied the similar sticker and the 1st edition.. Gold stickers are for English and asian cards.. While for silver stickers are Japanese cards.. Other cards, which are not sponsored by Ude or Konami are similar to fake.. Besides, not only the sticker is the basis of the originality of the card.. It is the thickness of paper that you need to be familiar with in telling whether it is a fake yugioh card or not..

Does it say Limited Edition? If it does, it is probably not fake. The first edition WILL fade if the card is old/in a bad condition, so how old is it? What is the card name/set? It might even be a misprint! -Rock Lee-
