Okay, I'll tell you two of my favorite games, and the first one's going to be pretttty long, so you can just skip and go to the second game. But if you're bored you can still look into the first card game :] My ALL TIME favorite is Big 2. It involves stragety and luck. First, shuffle your deck, and lay out four piles. Then have you and your partner take one pile, and push the other two aside for later. And basically, to determine which player starts, it could be the one that has 3 of Diamond, or the last winner. So, the order of the cards are (For me) Diamond, Clubs, Hearts, Spades 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen King Ace 2 And there are ways to put out your cards. You can: Put out one card at a time, and just put a higher card on the last one. Ex: 3Diamond, 5Clubs, 5Spades, Jack Put out a pair Ex: 8Clubs 8Heart, QueenHeart QueenSpades, 2Diamond 2Clubs Put out triplets (lol) Ex: 6Diamond 6Clubs 6Heart, AceClubs AceHearts, AceSpades And here's when you can put out 5 cards at a time, and they're in order from the um... weakest to most powerful (lol) Straight - have 5 cards that are in order 3Clubs, 4Diamond, 5Heart, 6Spades, 7Diamond Flush - have the 5 cards with the same picture thing 7Heart, 4Heart, AceHeart, QueenHeart, 3Heart Full House - have triplets and a pair 3Heart, 3Clubs, 3Spades, AceDiamond AceSpades Snake - have quadriplets (4 same cards) and one other card 4Diamond, 4Heart, 4Clubs, 4Spades, Ace Straight Flush - have flush AND straight (I've only got this hand once, and I didn't even notice until I put it out!) 4Clubs, 5Clubs, 6Clubs, 7Clubs, 8Clubs So when you don't want to put out a card, or you can't, then you skip. When you skip, the other opponent can put out WATEVER he/she wants to. So: She - 3Diamond He - 9Spades She - Ace He - Pass She - 7Diamond 7Clubs He - 9Clubs, 9Heart She - Pass He - Jack, Queen, King, Ace, 2 OMGosh, that was really long... wellllll this game might SOUND complicated, but when you actually play, it's REALLY fun! And here's my second card game: You layout 4 piles of 4 you and your partner. Put out 4 seperate cards between your piles and flip them over. Try to switch one card at a time with the four seperate cards and your cards. Whoever is the first to have all four piles organized with the same number, say "Strike!" and you're the winner. Wow, my answer is SUPER long!! Well, I hope you like my recommendations!!!!!!!! =D

My personal favorite 2 player game is War. It's a game of chance so there is no real thinking involved and it makes for a great game. If you don't know how to play - Each player gets half of the deck (Jokers can be removed or not). You do NOT look at your cards. Each player puts down one card at the same time. The player with the higher number or face card gets both the cards. (Ace is highest. Joker can be higher then ace, or lower then two if used). If Both players put down the same card, they have a war. Each player puts 3 face down cards and then a final fourth card face up. The player with the higher face up forth card wins All the cards in play. If the fourth card is a tie, you have a double-war and so on. This is my personal favorite 2 player game because it doesn't involve anything and you don't have your friend claiming that they have 'skill'

Big two.

There's a really fun card game for two players called Spit! You probably know how to play, but if you don't: Step 1: Sit at a table facing your opponent. Step 2: Divide a standard 52-card deck evenly between both players (26 cards each). Step 3: Avoid looking at your cards as you begin your setup. Step 4: Set up five piles of cards face down in front of you. From left to right, your piles should be as follows: the first pile has one card, the second has two, the third has three, the fourth has four and the fifth has five. Step 5: Turn over the top card in each pile. Step 6: Hold the rest of your cards in your nondominant hand (probably your left hand if you are right-handed). These cards are your spit cards. Step 7: Hold your spit cards throughout the game to ensure that you play with only one hand. The Game Step 1: Start the game when both players are done setting up. Step 2: Say "One, two, three, SPIT." At the same time, place the top cards from your in-hand spit cards between both of your setups, forming two "spit piles." Step 3: Play cards either one higher or one lower than the top card on either spit pile. Use only exposed cards from your setup. For example, if one of the spit piles shows a ten, you may play either a nine or a jack. If a jack is played, the next card must be either a ten or a queen. Step 4: Play cards as fast you can, placing them on either pile. The first person to put his or her card down prevails. Step 5: Expose the next card in your setup after you use a card. Keep five cards exposed in front of you at all times. Step 6: Count "One, two, three, SPIT" when neither player can play a card on either spit pile. Step 7: Keep playing until one player has no cards left in his or her setup. Step 8: Stop playing. Step 9: Pick up the smaller spit pile and shuffle it into your spit cards if you were the first one done. The other player must pick up the larger pile. Step 10: Shuffle your cards. Step 11: Make your setup again. Step 12: Continue playing until one player has too few cards to make a complete setup. This player should make as much of a setup as possible. He or she will have no spit cards, so there will be only one spit pile in the center. Step 13: "Pick up" the nonexistent spit pile if you win the round with only one spit pile. If this means you have no cards at all, you win. Step 14: Continue playing until someone wins.

Battle. Deal the entire deck. You place a card face up. He places a card face up. Biggest number wins. If you lay down the same value of card, then you Battle. You lay 3 face down. He lays 3 face down. Next card is face up and highest card wins ALL.
