What can I do to make my White magic deck better?

Magic the Gathering, can enemy colors(ex:red/blue) make a deck as good as a allied color deck (ex: red/green)?

  • Is there any advantage or disadvantage in making a allied color deck to an enemy colored deck? A good explanation will help a lot. Thanks

  • Answer:

Yes, they can make as good a deck, but the philosophy of playing them will be different. Allied colors will support each other and are more stable. For example red and blue the red will let you burn your opponent while blue keeps your opponent from stopping you. Enemy colors oppose each other but can set up bigger plays, this is a bit less stable. For example the red and green, green would ramp up the mana you have out, but the low cost of red means you will run out of your hand quickly. Though red does have cards like fireball that lets you do more damage for more mana. So allies are stable but run at basicly the same power each game. Enemies are erratic but can sometimes be greater than the sum of their parts.
