What should I buy in the yugioh card game?

  • I have $40 and I want to spend it on yugioh but I don't know what to buy, master collection, legendary collection 1 or just a tin or something

    Unfortunately, in stores like Target and Walmart, $40 doesn't get you very far in Yu-Gi-Oh. If your of school age, im pretty sure you can find someone who will give you their cards at school for cheap, especially in high school where nobody uses them much. Checking small game stores and sites like Craigslist is a good idea too. If you insist on buying from the big stores, a starter deck, a structure deck and a few booster packs are a good idea to get yourself started and getting used to things like card themes (Zombies, Machines, Fiends, etc.) Or you could buy a starter deck, a tin (Multiple booster Packs and a select bunch of rare and powerful cards) and some booster packs with the remainder if you want to imerse yourself in the strange, and often very interesting world of deck arrangement, or building a deck from scratch from your selection of cards. Sticking to a theme will help you chain your cards together. If you intend on collecting, the small card shops are THE place to go.

If this your first set of cards buy a starter set or a tin. If you're looking to try and get rare cards then choose your luck with Booster Packs. Or If you want specific sets of cards, then yeah collections

It depends on what you're looking for. Hard-to-find cards and a snazzy book to keep things in? Go with the Collection book things. A usable deck, straight out of the packaging, with nifty card combos and a few semi-rares? Tins would be the better option.
