Can You Rate My Yu-Gi-Oh! Deck?

  • ok so heres the scoop, i am entering a local yugioh tournament, and i can't wait til this saturday for my first tourney! :) so anyhow... i'm kind of nervous about my newly constructed deck, i made sure none of the cards were limited/forbidden so thats the good thing... Now i have a Synchro deck i call it i guess... my goal is to get a lvl 4 non-tuner monster on the field with 1900 or 1850 attack points... and get a tuner monster on the field which is either lvl 4 or 3 or even 1... in my synchro deck i have power tool dragon, ancient fairy dragon and stardust dragon... i only have one lvl 4 tuner monster so it is gonna be hard to summon my stardust but i still have power tool and ancient fairy dragon to pick from... i prefer power tool for the summoning but my favorite is stardust... i might be able to get a lvl 4 tuner to help me summon stardust so that might help ALOT! i think my deck is pretty good but im not sure... so ill list my deck and you tell me what u think ok? thanks :) -Non-Tuner Monsters- Saber Beetle Gagagigo Luster Dragon Battle Footballer Man-Eater Bug x2 Insect Knight Marshmallon Alien Shocktrooper Archfiend Soldier Sabersaurus Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke -Tuner Monsters- Junk Synchron x2 Fishborg Blaster Twilight Rose Knight Road Synchron X-Saber Airbellum -Synchro Monsters- Stardust Dragon Power Tool Dragon Ancient Fairy Dragon -Spells- Axe of Despair Mystical Space Typhoon Brain Control Lightning Vortex x2 Fissure x3 Malevolent Nuzzler x3 Heavy Storm -Traps- Sakuretsu Armor x3 Trap Hole x3 Magic Cylinder Raigeki Break Rising Energy Widespread Ruin I am soo nervous about this... i keep thinking my deck is going to get owned by some nerd with like dad or something :( PLEASE RATE MY DECK AND TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD ADD OR WHATS WRONG WITH IT! it has 40 cards and 3 synchros which i think is good...     i can see that this is a first time making a deck... to be honest this deck is horrible, even for a begginer. But we can fix that. here are the basic steps to making a good playable deck. 1. Make sure it has a theme- Dark, Light, Fiend, Fairy, Beast, Dragon, Burn,Mill, Etc... 2. Make sure all of the cards work together- The better they do the more smoothly your deck will run. 3. Take out any cards that don't fit into the theme of the deck- Just because the card is good doesn't mean it will work for your deck. 4. Be Creative- Invent a new deck of your own likings and strategy. i made a Budget deck for you. it is pretty simple and will should be fun to play with. Monsters 20 1x Gorz the Emissary of Darkness ($5) 1x Cyber Dragon (most expensive card ,$8) 2x Turbo Booster 3x Quilbolt Hedgehogs 3x Junk Syncron 3x Necro Gardna 2x Breaker the Magical Warrior 3x Marauding Captian 1x Sangan 1x Marshmallon Spells 10 2x Double Summon 1x Heavy Storm 1x Mystical Space Typhoon 1x Swords of Revealing Light 1x Brain Control 2x Lightning Vortex 2x Foolish Burial Traps 10 2x Bottomless Trap Hole 2x Sakuretsu Armor 1x Magic Cylinder 3x Threatning Roar 2x Seven Tools of the Bandit I would also suggest buying a Zombie Structure deck because they work really well for beginners as well as The Dark Emporer.

ok. lets get down to the basics YOUR DECK WILL GET OBLITERATED AT THE TOURNAMENT!!! 1.) Needs a theme 2.) thats pretty much the road warrior deck with a bunch of other randon cards. 3.) Check for banned/limited cards. Most of them are banned Overall a 2.5/10

Ancient Fairy Dragon works well in a Geartown build due to its effect. Black Salvos with mechanical chaser or even canon soldier is a nice build to get level 7 synchros out quickly.

your gonna get owned atsome point in time. just make a deck you feel comfertable with. i myself play with a power.magic deck. and i go oldschool 2nd season any others blow. just my opinion. but u have a nice deck. id like to duel you sometime.

LISTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you need to listen to Chilaxin he friggen knows what he is talking about. also don't even listen to joel, morphatronics are going nowhere, they might be fun but they are over supported and just dumb. ( trust me I would know I tried running one once, it got me nowhere) One of the major things that a very very VERY good tournement player has is extra cash, and a job. If you want to win this tournement your gonna have to dig deep in your pockets and use your lighter to burn a very big hole in your pocket. I f these are the best cards you have, then no one is going to want to trade with you eigther (sad but true ) what I suggest is eigther getting a job, and blowing that money off, or wait until the next pack comes out and buy a big box or two of those cards and then you'll have lots of cards that people want to trade for.^^ (you could do this with the gold series2 boxes also) Like I said I'm not gonna give you any advice on your deck, because Chilaxin already has it covered. I did give you advice about the game and that's it. (btw lightning vortex isn't limited at all ) good luck out there kiddo, and have fun!

yeah, hate to burst your confidence bubble but that's not gonna do too well. You're gonna get chewed up by pretty much all the decks out there. If you need a cheap deck wqhich is very good, there is only 1 tournament suitable option: Morphtronics Monsters (21) 3x Morphtronic Celfon 3x Morphtronic Boarden 3x Morphtronic Radion 3x Morphtronic Boomboxen 3x Morphtronic Scopen 3x Morphtronic Magnen 3x Morphtronic Cameran Spells (14) 3x Junk Box 3x Double Tool C&D 3x Morphtronic Accelerator 2x Morphtronic Repair Unit 1x Limiter Removal 1x United We Stand 1x Megamorph Traps (7) 3x Morphtronic Bind 3x Morphtronic Monitron 1x Call of the Haunted Extra Deck (15) 1x 4* Synchro 1x 5* Synchro 5x 6* Synchro 2x Power Tool Dragon 5x other 7* Synchros 2x 8* Synchros Side Deck (15) 3x Infernal Reckles Summon 3x Gadget Driver 3x Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror 3x Light-Imprisoning Mirror 3x Morphtronic Map Fairly Standard Morphtronic Deck, slight emphasis on equipment magic because of Power Tool. The Extra deck is all counters (Mirrors for Lightsworn, Blackwing, DAD), you may even want to use 3x Thunder King Rai-Oh instead of the 3x Morphtronic Map, as it plays counter to Glad Beasts. Overall this deck shold cost you around £80 (most the expenses coming from United We Stand and half-decent synchros).

Add Goyo Guardian it's one of the best synchros out. Lol dark mark that's what my school calls this 1 guy at school and btw just today I had my second tournament at a local card shop and I got owned by a nerd with a teledad deck in the second round lol...BTW lightning vortex is limited to 1
