Is this a good pokemon deck?

PLEASE HELP ME with my pokemon card deck!!!?

  • I'm running a steelix prime and tyranitar prime deck. it consists of: 2x onix- hs unleashed (the one with the pok'e body energy healer) 1x steelix prime 1x steelix- hs unleashed 2x girafarig- heartgold & soul silver 1x miltank- diamond and pearl storm front 2x pichu- pop series 9 2x evee (one call for family one regular evee) 1x umbreon prime 1x umbreon- hs unduanted 3x larvitar- (all hs unleashed 1 with mountain eater attack) 2x pupitar- hs unleashed (the one with the pok'e body boost gas) 1x tyranitar prime 1x tyranitar- hs unleashed 1x farfetchd- diamond and pearl 1x latias 1x skarmory 2x expert belt 1x defender 3x switch 1x buffer piece 1x department store girl 2x pokemon communication 1x professer elms training method 2x energy exchanger 1x special metal energy 4x special darkness energy 1x rainbow energy (rest are a mixture of dark and steel energy's) Ok heres my strategy. Tyranitar and steelix are my only attackers! I try to use tyranitar prime and steelix prime before using the other tyranitar and steelix. Onix's poke body energy healer allows me to take one damage counter off of a pokemon that i just attached and energy too. girafarig's attack show off only takes one energy and allows me too search my deck for two basic energy and put them into my hand (this is needed since steelix and tyranitar prime both need a lot of energys). milktanks attack energy healer only takes one energy and allows me to flip a coin until i get heads and for each heads I get I can take two damage counters off of one of my pokemon. Now for that too be effective, I would need to retreat tyranitar or steelix in which both have a retreat cost of four energys, this is where the switches come in play. I can use a switch to retreat tyranitar or steelix onto my bench, send out milktank and heal them. i dont attack with umbreon prime, i keep him out there as a physical block and let my opponent attack him until tyranitar or steelix is built up, then i use umbreons poke power cloud covered moon. cloud covered moon allows me to flip a coin, if i get heads then i can take umbreon and all cards attached too it back too my hand. if i don't have umbreon prime, but have the other umbreon then i play him against a pokemon with a poke power and use moonlight fang which enables umbreon too be free from damage from pokemon that have a poke power or poke body. now i know i only have one tyranitar prime and one steelix prime. well thats where pichu comes into play, pichus attack find a friend, allows me too flip a coin and if heads i get to search my deck for any pokemon i want, and it takes no energy! I have latias to revive fallen energys, with its energy revival take that allows me to pull out an energy from my discard pile and attach it to a pokemon. skarmory has an attack that allows me to search my deck for any steel energy and attach it to one of my pokemon, this helps build up steelix. and finally farfetch'd lets me search my deck for a trainer supporter or stadium card in order to get those out! heres my strategy for tyranitar and steelix once i get them into play. tyranitar prime: My power attacker. I use my special darkness energys on tyranitar prime (which adds 10 more power to his attacks). in order to get these energys i use energy exchanger and switch out the basic dark energy for the special ones. the tool i always attach to him is expert belt. it adds 20 hp to him and gives his attacks 20 more power. so i attach the darkness energies and the expert belt and his power claw attack does from 100-120 damage (depending on how many special dark energys attached) where it would normally do 60, this allows me too avoid using megaton tail which makes me have to discard the 3 tops cards of my deck. steelix prime: my brick wall, hard to knock out defense. Steelix is not so much as my attacker as tyranitar. steelix is more of my impossible to knock out pokemon. its poke body perfect metal prevents it from being affected by any special conditions which helps a lot. I use the special metal energy on him because it makes every attack done to steelix -10. I usually attach buffer piece to him because it gives him 20 more hp, but if i have the expert belt and its not already attached to tyranitar i attach it to steeix. but steelix has a good attack too, gaia crush does 100 damage!. I plan on getting another steelix prime and another tyranitar prime. what do you guys think? tips? advice? compliments? corrective critisim? experianced tcg players only please, and no negative comments that don't help. thank you in advance!

  • Answer:

ok then, your deck is very good and you have clearly thought over your strategy. however there are some changes i would make such as: first of all pichu is not needed, although its attack is ok it has low hp and cant defend it's self. And although I like umbreon prime it can be replaced with something better like houndoom prime which has a better attack and higher HP. other than that a great deck hope i helped. =)
