• People are telling me that Gladiator beast Darius rulings have changed. Is it true that if gladiator beast Darius is flipped face down, the monster that Darius summoned regain its effects? Will this still occur if compulsory evacuation device is used on darius?? And my final question is if you book of moon darius when it is Special summoning Gyzarus from the graveyard, will Gyzarus gain its effect to pop 2 cards???

  The Darius rulings have always been in place. Darius continuously targets whatever Gladiator Beast he brings back with his effect. If you flip him face-down him, he isn't removed from the field, so the G.B. stays, and he also can't target the G.B. anymore, which means he can't negate its effect. Since the G.B that Darius brought back was Special Summoned by the effect of another G.B., it gains its effect. What would make you think Compulsory does the same thing? Read Darius: "That monster's effect(s) is negated, and it is returned to your Deck when this card is removed from the field." If Darius is removed from the field, like by Compulsory Evacuation Device, the G.B. he brought back is returned to the Deck. The last one is more complicated, but yes, you can do that. It goes like this: Chain Link 1: Gladiator Beast Darius is Special Summoned, and his effect activates, targetting Gladiator Beast Gyzarus in the Graveyard. Chain Link 2: Book of moon is chained, targetting Gladiator Beast Darius. The Chain resolves backwards 1. Book of Moon flips Gyzarus face-down. 2. Gladiator Beast Gyzarus is Special Summoned. 3. Being at the resolution of the chain, and having been Special Summoned, and having nothing on the field negating its effect, Gladiator Beast Gyzarus's effect can activate, destroying up to 2 cards on the field.
