Yu Gi Oh Trading Card Game Tutorial?

The Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game???

  • I used to play this game all the time, but in 2005 i had given all my cards away. I was 15 i thought i was a bit old for tradign card games :) lol well my best friends (One is 12 the other is 17 like me) they both love the yugioh trading cards, well i started collecting them again, and the 12 yr. old has two egyptain god cards, and i thought that was a little unfair that i have to duel witht that! So i got on ebay and got me an egyptian god card (Ra) But i don't know how to play with it, there are no insturctions on how to get any ATK and DEF points, can you please help me?! Oh and sorry for telling you my boring life story i tend to ramble :) Thanks!

    the ACTUAL effects of the Gods: The Winged Dragon of Ra: this card cannot be normal summoned or set. this card can only be special summon be offering 3 monsters on your side of the feild. this cards attack/defense is equal to the combined total attack/defense of the monsters offered as tributes. pay 1000 life points to destroy one card on the feild. increase the attack of this card by a selected amount of life points you choose to pay. this card cannot be targeted by a spell, trap or monster effect. Slifer the Sky Dragon: this card cannot be normal summoned or set. this card cannot be special summoned except by offering 3 monsters on your side of the feild as a tribute. this cards attack is equal to the number of cards in your hand x1000. when your opponent normal summons, flip summons or special summons a monster decrease the attack of the summoned monster by 2000 attack points. this card cannot be targeted by a spell, trap or monster effect. Obelisk the Tormentor: this card cannot be normal summoned or set. this card cannot special summoned except by offering 3 monsters on your side of the feild as a tribute. offer 2 monsters on your side of the feild as a tribute to destroy all monsters on your opponents side of the feild and inflict 4000 points of direct damage to your opponents life points. this card cannot be targeted by a spell, trap or monster effect. offer three tributes the atk and def become the total attack and def of the tributes. when special summond sent to graveyard during end phase while face up cannot be targetted by spells traps and monsters. when special summond you can activate one of effects..... pay 1ooo life points to remove 1 monster from play.... pay all but 1 life point and increase the atk and def by the amount of life points paid. hope that helps :-)

the winged dragon of ra has no fixed attack or defense. As a god card you have to tribute 3 monstors. Ra's attack is equal to all three combined and the same with defence. If u special summun him his attack and defense equal zero.

wit ra you just have to tribute 3 monsters and ra gains their attack and defense combined and also he is unaffected by magic and when he's summoned nothing can be activated and he destroys all magic and trap on the field

I have used ra before. Yes it's 3 tributes, yes you add the atk and dfs of the tributes to give ra's atk and dfs. You can also take your life points and add even more to his attack! You could take away 3000 life points and you can add 3000 more atk and dfs points to ra!

You must sacrifice 3 Monsters to play any egyptain God Card. The ATK and DEF becomes the total number of the three monsters sacrificed. Like say you sacrificed three Blue-Eyes. The ATK is 9000. The DEf is 7500.

official rules state that the egyptian god cards are aggainst all rules but i'd go the extra mile and make it so when you summon him it's 2 blue eyes ultmt dragon rider or another power house cause those 3 give him a 14000 atk

the god cards arent even game legal it says so on the cards so you should just tell him to take them out since the rulings say that they cannot be used in a duel
