What are some good 2 player card games?

Does anyone have any good one-player card games?

  • i'm tired if playing solitare and pyramids. i need some good one-player card games played with a 52 card deck. thanks.

    I don't know the name. Shuffle the cards. Start laying them out. Whenever two in a row are the same number, take them both out. Keep dealing. Whenever a fourth card is the same suit as the third one back, take out all four cards. The object is to have no cards left. Almost never happens, but fun to try. You can make up your own rules about shuffling and re-dealing after the first time through the deck.

there is one I enjoy that is deceptively simple. 1) shuffle your deck =) 2) lay out two rows of four cards, for a total of eight cards. 3) cover any pairs with cards from your deck. 4) repeat #3 until you have no more pairs on the field (loss) or no more cards in your deck (win).
