Recently Yahoo updated their chess software program and you now need the new version. The first thing you will have to do is remove the old software demo. Standard clearing the cache does not remove game demos (deleting browser history old files clearing cookies, etc) They have to be deleted by manually selecting the Yahoo demo program. You can do this by either Going to tools on your tool bar, then select Internet options, browser history, settings button, view objects. Select the game chess and then delete it. OR Go to start,my PC, click on C-drive, open the windows folder, open the downloaded programs folder.your games are listed there. delete the chess file. Now when you go to chess just download the new demo. If you do not remove the old version 1st,you will get a version conflict message.

Hello :) i think i can help... i had the same problem... now is ok because iremoved the Flash player and installed Flash player version 7. it works almost perfect. I use 7 with mozilla and 9 with explorer. if u need some help about how to do that, please write :) Good luck!

Try to clear cache, install Java Applet, turn off Pop-Up Blocker, install Flash Player, and try again.
