  • Answer:

Drop Lemartes, he's just a chaplain with an awkward 1 wound ability. Im not sure what you are running with the DC, but if you have multiple units of 5, try taking 2 Death Company Dreadnoughts with Blood Talons instead of 2 normal Dreadnoughts. If you're not doing objectives, Tac Squads really aren't necesary. Try using hammernators or try throwing in Mephiston and put him in your Stormraven. As for the paint scheme, get the spraygun, spray mechrite, paint 60/40 Blood Red/Mechrite

There are various paint recipes you can use but a base-coat of Mechrite Red foundation paint will probably make it easier. Medium-brown is a good undercoat for red too. Take a look at this, the painter rather cleverly first primed the models in black (very important to prime; primer gives the paint something to stick to) and then painted them all over with a basecoat of Vallejo Cadmium Red: http://warhammer.org.uk/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=81610 Don't try to be too fancy, when you are trying to paint a large number of models you have to restrict yourself to a simple paint-job that you can complete or you'll go nuts trying to paint them all. If you've got a lot of them to do you might want to try dipping them to save time on shading: http://www.wilkinsonplus.com/content/ebiz/wilkinsonplus/invt/0210491/0210491_m.jpg
