Here is a game we used to play that was really cool : 1. Take a piece of paper, 8 1/2 " by 11", and fold it in half. 2. Decide with the other person you will be playing with how many islands each of you will have. 3. On "your" half of the paper, draw the outline of 3 or 4 or 5 islands, and have the other person do the same. 4. On those 'islands' draw some different types of targets, like runways, buidlings, gun posts, etc. Make sure you don't draw them too big, as that will make it too easy. Have the other player do the same. 5. Now, to start the game, what you do is draw a dot in pencil, go over it several times to make it dark. Then, fold the paper over so the back of the paper is visible, and the half you drew the dot on is now directly on top of the other players islands. 6. On the back of the paper, where the impression of the dot you have drawn on the front can be seen, draw on the back of the circle pressing firmly so that it is "transferred" over to the other half of the paper. 7. Unfold the paper, and see if you scored a "hit" on any of the other players targets. This isn't the best explanation, but I hope you get the basic gist if it. It is kinda' like the old game "Battleship," but you can see where the other person's targets are. The challenge is in correctly estimating where to put the "dot", ie the bomb, so that when you fold the paper over and rub on the back with the pencil to copy it to the other half of the paper, it will "land" on a target. When you get really good, you can make the targets, as well as the "bombs" smaller and smaller. Have fun!
