Is THIS how you play uno the CORRECT way?

  • So back in school , my teacher told us how to play uno . My mom is playing with my brothers, i wanted to play too and there was a YELLOW 1 laying down. i put down A BLUE 2 ( because we were playing colors and numbers ) and when i put down 2 my mom flipped out , Is this how you play Uno ?

    Hi when you play you ay like so - if someone puts down a blue 0 you. Can putanother blue on and any other colour but it has to be 0 not one unless it's blue of course but with trick cards like skip turn if it's you're turn after skip a turn has been used u can put another skip a turn on of any other colour hope this helps

No. When playing uno, you need to follow suit with the same color card, another color 1, (since there was a yellow 1 aloready down) or a wild card. You cannot change colors because you feel like it.

With a yellow 1 on the board. Your choices are any color 1 or any yellow card. You have to match color or number. Wilds work on anything of course.
