What is the return policy of targeT for opened board games?

  • Im wondering what the return policy of opened toys like board games at target. Ive checked out the full return policy on the website, and i find it not specific enough. I have the reciept. Im hoping somebody that has experienced this know if i can return it? thanks/

    While the policy is the same nation-wide for Targets, different stores interpret it differently. For example, my store will just check to make sure all pieces are there and accept the return. On the other hand, I know the Target a few towns over will NOT take anything that's opened unless it's defective, and in that case will only exchange it for the same item (per the return policy.)

At Target you have to take the game in and play the whole game with the managers to make sure all the pieces are there and it still functions properly.
