How is it possible for people to win the Illinois Lottery everyday? Where does the money come from?

I've only played the lottery once in my life, and that was the other day. I bought a ticket just like everyone else does. I watched the news for the results, but of course I didn't win.   the money comes from everyone who has bought tickets. you must have paid at least a dollar to get the ticket and now you know this winner has your dollar. its unbelievable how many people buy tickets and also the fact that some people buy loads of tickets just so that there is a higher chance of winning the money as some people are addicts. its not a scam, the money comes from the players and sometimes people sponsor it.
