Does anybody know anything about poker dealers?

Anybody know anything about online poker/ the 2003 poker boom...?

  • Currently doing an Extended Project Qualification and need to hand out some questionnaires, unfortunately there's not many people who I know who know that much about online poker.     I sent you an email. Robert Varkonyi won the year before Moneymaker and he was a complete amateur. So much so that Phil Hellmuth said he would let them shave his head if Varkonyi won the thing. It's mainly because of the name and the fact that he qualified for the ME through a small online satellite that Moneymaker gets all the recognition for the poker boom.

I'll just tell you one thing that's fairly common knowledge amongst poker fans. The poker boom started in 2003 because that is the year Chris Moneymaker (yes - that's his real name) won the Main Event at the World Series of Poker. It was the first time a total nobody won the World Series. Folks saw that and thought, "Wow - if he could do that, so could I!"
