Is Swoopo a Legit Auction site?

How do you win an auction swoopo? Is it a con or is there a system to win quickly or is it both?

• Can anyone tell me how to work the bids to actually win. I am torn between it being a con and then I see people win at certain times. www.swoopo.co.uk is the site. I have not spent much and don't intend to. I know how much they make per bid and on an actual items (ie lots) but I figure that it is best to bid in the last 2-3 seconds and in the early hours when the kids wake me up and I can't get back to sleep and theres not many people on the site. If anyone actually does win a lot can they point me in the right direction? Thanks very much x

  I just stubbled upon this site tonight. Didn't know much about it but I noticed that it is basically a "gambling" site. you buy bids at a $1 each and then you pay $1 per bid so my advice would be just watch the bids for awhile. don't place a bid till the price gets on up there pretty close to what the retail price would be cause for every bid it cost a dollar so yes the swoopo company is making a killing I guess! All i'm doing right now is watching the bids cause the cheapest bid package is $20 for 30 bids and I don't want to waste them. I think the 1st thing you should try to win is one of those 300 free bid deals that way you have plenty of bids to go after the big items. That's what I plan to do for my first auction.
