I want to win the powerball jackpot.

The next Jackpot for PowerBall is $220 Million and that's alot. I want to win. What's the best way?

  • I want to win that amount badly for myself and my family. I know the odd is too great against me, but I hope I would know how to play it right and win the jackpot. But I don't know of anyone or anything that would work out for me. Do you have any idea of how it can be done?

    There is no best way to play as the odds are more than heavily stacked against you. If you really want to play then buy a couple of tickets. Don't buy a lot if you are really hard up for cash because chances are you aren't going to win $100 as the odds to win that prize is ridiculous so the fewer tickets you buy the more cash you will have left in your pocket. Maybe get in a lottery pool where you and your friends chip in an equal amount of money like $5 and then you will have more chances to win. Of course if you ever won you would be splitting the prize but something tells me if you "only" won say $10 million you would be just fine.

There is only 1 way to guarantee a win... ...and that is to play every single number combination possible. Of course you would have to have the money to be able to do that beforehand and hope that no one else wins the jackpot as well because then the jackpot is divided between all the winners.

First, wait until it's about three hundred million, then its getting to be a good bet. A good bet means your odds of winning are better than what you pay to play. If your odds are 300,000,000 to 1 then a one dollar bet to win 3 hundred million dollars is a good bet. Your odds of solo winning a powerball are about 325 million to one. The only thing I've ever heard of to help stretch those a bit (I mean a tiny bit) is to play the underused numbers. Doesn't help your chance of winning but might help your chance of being the only winner. Playing the lotto is no way to plan for retirement.

If anyone knew the answer to that question, we would have become millionaires. If you have any dates that are important to you and have deep meaning in your life, try those. Who knows it might work. If you are a believer of a Higher Power, pray that your God gives you willingness to continue to try, and pray that you are doing it for the right reasons and not out of pure selfishness. Other than that good luck to you. I never play, its a waste of money, but then again if everyone thought the way I did, you would probably win, because no one would be wasting their money on that!

If there were secret tricks to winning, people who know those tricks would use them. The laws of statistics even out over time. Unless you have very detailed knowledge of the drawing process, your odds are the same as everyone else. If you have that knowledge, you probably are legally barred from playing. So in short, if you want to increase your odds, buy more tickets. By the actual odds of Powerball, you're very likely to just lose more money that way.
