What would you do with your lottery winnings?

  • I couldn't help but thinking this morning when I went online to check the mega-millions winning numbers, what would I do if I won? If you got all 5 numbers plus the mega ball, you won 38 million dollars. Of course, if you took the lump sum, you would probably take home about 16 million and I got to thinking "Wow! That's a lot of money!! What would I do..."? I'm wondering what everyone else would do if they won 16 million or so. I know times are hard for many of us right now, and it's fun to let your imagine wander and think of everything you could pay off, buy and do! So, what would you do if you hit it big? Let's say 15 million is what you take home so we all are on the same budget :) I would pay off my Mom's house, pay off the boyfriends parents house, buy my Mom and boyfriends parents all new, reliable vehicles, help my brother and his wife get back on there feet. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews, I'd take the 3 oldest (the youngest is one month) on a fun trip, like Disney World/ Sea World, etc. Buy myself a home, my dream vehicle & take a romantic vacation with my man. Then I'd take all my friends and family on a cruise or something. Let my b/f and his guys have a guys trip and me and all my girls go on a girls trip. After all this, I'd put the lump of what I had left over in savings, then I'd pay for myself to go back to college and finish my degree! I would also help my grandparents, etc... out. Of course, I'd set up a savings for my nieces and nephews for college and my boyfriends family as well. What would you do?

    id pay off my entire immediate family's debts. then buy my mom a house of her dreams. purchase real estate up the you know what and go back to school.

I'd pay off my credit card, my Target card, and my student loans. I'd pay off all my husband's bills, including our mortgage. I'd pay off my mom's bills and buy her house outright so she could enjoy her retirement. I think I'd buy my husband a sailboat like he's always wanted, and we could get ourselves a beach-front house in San Diego. Also, I'd go to Vegas and play blackjack all night long without having to worry about how much I was losing. Oh, yes, and I'd go on a trip to Europe with all my friends like we've been talking about, but instead of having to backpack and stay in youth hostels, we could stay at the Ritz and the Four Seasons everywhere we went. Then of course, I'd save the rest and invest some too.

I would make sure every single family memeber had all their bills paid off, I would donate to animal shelters, or maybe open my own that is ZERO kill, i would buy this little homeless man that i see often a house! & food and car! i would TRAVEL like crazy and buy my dream car But the main thing i would do is try and make a difference and put the biggest smile on other peoples faces :D
