  • I really want to buy Minecraft! I have a few questions. First, I see that I can buy it for roughly $20. and I read somewhere that at the end of October they will be releasing the rest of the game for almost double that... **And if I buy it now, I will receive a free upgrade??? Is this true? Something else i noticed is on Minecraft.net underneath the BUY NOW button it says "Play Minecraft Beta." **What is Minecraft Beta? Is it free? and then under that it says "Play Minecraft Classic (Outdated, but free)" **Is Minecraft Classic different from the real game? Sorry for all of the questions but i have one more :) **Is there a menu or something in the game that shows you the differences Between the materials (ie. stone vs. coal vs. gravel) Thank you so very much!

    well, first, you can buy the Minecraft beta with $20. Second, once you buy Minecraft it will get updated when updates are released. third,Classic is free ,but it's old ,try to search it by yourself and compare it with YouTube videos, then you can see it clearly. And there is no menu that shows you the difference, but you won't need that anyways. at last , I know a really cheap and safe website, you can buy key from that. http://www.gamehos.com/goods-341-MinecraftBetaGiftCodeKey.html I usually buy key codes from it , their customer service is really nice.^^

what you need is a premium minecraft account. you can get them free at getfreeminecraftaccounts.com, then you can download the game and you can play online with all your friends. there is a couple other sites, but that was the best one. hope this helps :) once you get an account go online to the server punch.monstercraft.org:25565 it's the best server online!!

Beta is the stage that Minecraft is in at the moment, so if you pay now, you get the Beta, and then the full version when it comes out. Classic is different as you cannot craft things, try it out yourself and compare it with YouTube videos. And there is no menu that shows you the difference, but you won't need that anyways.

buying minecraft gets you all future updates for free. a beta is a testing phase, alpha comes before a beta. Classic is the most basic bits of the game you get all the blocks and just build. if your really new to it look up some vids on youtube on the basics of minecraft
