Do u guys have a yahoo lottery?

Good afternoon, I received a mail from the Yahoo National Lottery in the UK. Does this exist?

  • You need to stop this guys if this is a scam! They are asking for USD$ 1.050 to send the prize!! These are some of the things they say: Congratulations once again on behalf of the Yahoo Lottery Board. We do believe that your winnings will be put into good use for community, educational and business development. On Behalf of the Screening Committee of the Yahoo Lottery Board of Trustees, I wish to formally announce to you that you have successfully passed the Email Screening and Verification Form Matching Test conducted for all on line winners in your Category. Hence you are therefore cleared, your Winning Check as prepared by the payment officer. Then they send you to the currier agent: These documents has been securely sealed and packed for security reasons which makes it impossible for anyone to view it until its been delivered to you. Your parcel with identification number: CPEL/OWN/9877 has been sent to our affiliate courier company (SKYE-LINK COURIER COMPANY)

  • Answer:

i think its a scam! no1 would say you have won a prize but u have to pay to recieve it! thats just rubbish and its how they make their money! if your unsure email the real yahoo and ask them..or look if there is a section about spoof on this proper yahoo website and try to report it. i wouldnt risk it as i really think it's a scam! i had one saying they were from the lottery in the uk too and they were asking me how much i had won and my details etc..when i went on the real national lottery's website it said if i had won they would not ask me how much it was as they would know and wouldnt ask some of the details they had asked me. dont do it! its not worth it! nevcer give anyone your details unless your 100% certain u can trust them. just read your question properly and realised your giving us a warning! lol duh! thanks i will keep an eye out and report him if i hear anything.
