• dear sir i have a problem based on probability can u plz solve it for me,sir u can either give me the answer or the formula to calculate this type of problems. there is a wheel which contains the numbers 1,3,5,11,23,47 and 47 a ball rotates and it stops in any one of these numbers and that number is declared to be a winner ,the amount that is paid is for number 1 it is even money,for number 3 is 3 times,and for number 5 is 5 times,for number 11 is 11 times,for 23 is 23 times and for 47 is 47 times and again for 47 is 47 times. what i wanted sir is that i want to bet on every number and i should be a winner and the winning amount may vary with numbers sir can u plz solve this problem and give me the solution or the formula to calculate FOR EXAMPLE:if the ball stops on number 5 and the amount i bet is Rs 100 the amount i will be paid is 500 and my original bet will be given back there are other problems similar to this 1)1-2-5-10-20-40-40 i hope i will get t

  You're either explaining it incorrectly or leaving some information out. If the wheel only had 7 numbers all you would have to do is bet on the 11, 23, and two 47s every time and you'd be a millionaire in a day. Same thing with the other problem, just bet on the 10, 20, and two 40s. Try re-explaining the problem, or direct us to where ever you found it so we can see for ourselves.
