Mathematically speaking, you will win MORE OFTEN by buying 2 tickets, but you're going to win only half of what you would when winning on the 2-dollar ticket. Realistically speaking, it makes absolutely, positively no difference. If you want to be "smart about it", then you wouldn't buy these. Let's say instead you had $1,000 to spend. You wanted to do an experiment, so you bought 250 "Happy Holidays" tickets, ($500 total spent), and 500 "Take 5" tickets, ($500 total spent). What would happen? THAT I can tell you. You'd "win" approximately $250 from the Happy Holidays tickets, and you'd "win" approximately $250 from the Take 5 tickets. Congratulation, you just lost about 50% of the money you spent! That's what these tickets pay back - just 50% of what people spend on them!!! At a 50% payback rate, it easily makes buying these tickets the WORST bet on the planet! Buy as many coconuts as you can.
