You don't or shouldn't. A lottery is nothing but a scheme to take money from your pocket and put it in someone else's. Honestly, the states make more money out of a lottery than you will ever see. If you take the money that you would spend on a lottery ticket every week and put it into a Money Market fund, you would be a lot richer. Put aside a little bit every week, even if it isjust $5, just put it away constantly. It's an old cliche but it's true.
