Are there any RAD syllabus available for ballet?

New RAD intermediate ballet syllabus?

• I am about to start the new Intermediate RAD ballet syllabus and have been trying to find videos/ reviews of it. I have heard from other people that it is a lot harder than the old syllabus as it is more dancey? Also what is the pointe work like in this exam as this is my strongest area and I am hoping there is quite a bit. Any tips on the syllabus would be great to.

  I am currently studying the new Intermediate syllabus. I have no knowledge of the old material, except that it was less 'dancey' and it has less emphasis on musicality. I've also heard that the new stuff is harder. It definitely does feel more dancey, compared to Inter Found. It actually resembles Ballet 6. But when I dance it, it feels nice. As for the pointe work, I've only covered the set rises, relevés at the barre, and the temps lié. They're fine. But I do believe there is a pirouette en pointe, a courus exercise, and a few more. I don't really like pointe, as my arches are very low, and I sometimes have trouble getting on my box. As for tips, I guess I would tell you to not get caught up in the 'danciness' of it all. I know the new syllabus is more performance-oriented now, but don't forget about your technique. This is a vocational exam, after all, and what the examiner is really looking for is your clean technique. Performance only counts for 10 marks. I hope this helped. Good luck!
