What is some good belly dancing music?

  • I'm having a party coming up and my friend asked me to do some belly dancing for him...he wanted me to choreograph something that was to a modern song (similar to things that are like "Let it Rock" which is one of his favorites) any ideas...i would like it to have a good base beat to it...thanks a bunch...

I am actually a professional belly dancer and the tunes that I usually put on are Shakira, Miami Soundmachine, or Indie Rock. Those would be perfect for belly dancing.

It's not that modern, but "Comme Toi" by Alabina is a classic French song set to a belly dancing beat.
