Slow dancing: how close is too close?

  • When slow dancing at a formal high school dance with someone you have a close relationship with (Dating or a mutual crush), how close should you be? I had a dance last night and i love dancing close, so we were pressed together. Lol he definitely didn't mind, in fact he said it felt really nice. I don't want to press too tightly and make anyone uncomfortable (obviously I wouldn't stand so close with a stranger or friend), so I was curious as to how close other couples dance. How close do YOU dance? And do you turn in slow, tight circles or sway in one position side to side?

    Dance as close as makes YOU feel comfortable. If you two are romantically interested in each other then it shouldn't matter how close you dance, but you shouldn't be awkwardly far apart either.
