What can I do to make myself a better dancer?

What can i do to make myself a better hip hop/lyrical/R&B dancer?

• I've recently started taking hip hop classes & im planning to take some lyrical & R&B classes this summer. is there anything i can do now to prepare myself for those classes? && I've never done lyrical or R&B classes before so i dont really know what to expect, any tips?

  The internet is a great thing to use to do some research anything you are unfamiliar with. :) To start, I'd suggest looking up and doing some reading and watching some videos on lyrical and R&B (not just internet, of course, if you have access to other sources of information about them, go for it!) As with anything, the best way to get better is practice, practice, practice! Take everything you learn and find out and apply it to your every dance move until the day comes when it all comes naturally. Because eventually, with enough hard work, trust me, it will!
