What are some good Dance studios in Philadelphia?

Hi. I think Hope was referring to the Abby Lee Dance Company, as seen on Dance Moms. And that program is in Pittsburgh PA, not Philadelphia. You did not mention what kind of dance you want your daughter to learn, so that leaves your options very open... there are many local dance studios in any community, so it is best to check out the qualifications of the instructors before signing up for a class. I believe ballet is the strongest dance style that allows a child to grow, strengthen, develop, connect with the body-mind-spirit of dance, etc. Ballet is a strong base for a beginner dancer to then broaden into other techniques if desired. I recommend the Rock School. Abbey Less Dance Co. and also before you put her in Dance. It is a very competitive sport and she has to want it and be very dedicated. Ask her if she wants to first. because if you just put her in it it won't be because she likes it it will be for you. and that's not fair to her. If she doesn't like it she'll begin to hate it. and she won't be happy with you.
