What is the Homecoming Dance Like?

• I know what you're thinking... "Why is she asking this in January?" Well, my school doesn't have a Homecoming dance and I'm writing a story that includes one. I imagine that its a lot like any other school dance. I just have a few specific questions. -When is it held? Right after the Homecoming football game? A day later? -Where is it held? School gym? Or does the school bus people to a country club like at Prom? -Did your schools have Homecoming Queen/King elections or a parade? -Do all of these activities really take place on one night? Thanks!

  It can be held either right after homing football game or the day after depends on the school, mines is always day after. My school normally rents a space in some fancy places kind of like prom but not as elegant. Also, my school as homecoming King/Queen Prince/Princess Dutch/Dutchess and something else I forget but its for like every grade level 9-12. And I'm confused my the last question, what activities if you mean the dance and elections, yes..
