What happens to a Rockette when she can no longer dance? ?

I was sitting in a coffee shop when this question came up. So, when a Rockette can no longer dance do they just shoot them like a horse? I've never heard of an old Rockette.

Haha, they are have to find a new profession. just like any other professional athlete, the careers are short because it requires their body's to be in perfect shape physically. Some probably become dance teachers, choreographers, and so on. Some start new careers altogether. You can't be a professional dancer (or athlete) for a long time. It's one of the shortest careers.
