How can I get start breakdancing and get good at it?

After watching several seasons of America's Best Dance Crew, and knowing friends and a family member who do it, I'm seriously starting to get into it. How can I learn at least the basic moves (movements [from looking it up things such as the toprock if I am not mistaken])? And after I do that, is there any specific type of breakdancing that focuses on using techno/electro as a background instead of rap (I would think tutting would be an example, but I'm not completely sure). Thanks to those that can help.
