How to learn online?

How can i learn to do ballet online for free like videos and stuff?

• I'm 13, and i love ballet i've always wanted to learn it. when i was younger i used to mimic ballet dancers in movies and cartoons, but i cant go to ballet classes, my parents wont let me. so i was wondering if i can learn online for free like videos or anything. does anyone know if there is a website like that and if there is what is it called. please please. i know a little of ballet like a tiny bit , but i want to learn from the very beginning.

  You absolutely CANNOT teach yourself from videos! It is EXTREMELY bad and VERY dangerous! It is impossible to learn ballet properly from a video. The only correct way to learn ballet is in a class, with a teacher's eyes and hands on you. Trying to teach yourself, you will not be engaging your muscles correctly and you can't see what you're doing wrong, so you won't get any corrections. And you won't be learning how to engage your turnout correctly, which means you will be forcing it. Forcing turnout will only lead to injury. Trying to do anything without a qualified teacher's supervision and corrections will lead to injury. Please don't go with this foolish plan. Sit down with your parents and talk to them maturely. Ask them why they won't let you take ballet. If it's the cost, offer to pay half, or do extra chores, or get a paper round, or compromise on starting out with only one class a week. Sometimes, though, if they can't afford it, they just can't afford it. You can't always have what you want in this life. Don't whine or scream or cry or carry on like a baby. Be mature, and they'll be mature with you.
