Ballet : What level ISTD = RAD syllabus?
-
I've always learned the ISTD syllabus which goes grade 1-6 then 3 more major exams. I'm advanced 1 level (the 2nd of the 3) but now I'm moving to the UK and cannot find a school near the town I am moving to that teaches adults. They all seem to stop at grade 5. There looks to be a good few RAD schools, but what class should I enroll in that would be a similar level to what I have been working on? Many thanks!

Answer:
At some dance schools, you will find there are RAD Grade 1 - 8 (that's two more grades that you will not usually see). If so, take Grade 6, 7 or 8. OR you can do Vocational (ask your new school - but for this you have to be very experienced) Or just take an adult class. Hope I helped.
