Where are good dance classes in Kolkata?

How can I convince my mom to make me take dance classes again?

  • I used to dance since I was 4-9 and I stopped for a while because the place I went to, it wasnt REAL dancing. It was just...something fun to do. But now, that i'm 14, I watch Dance Moms alot, and I see that I want to do just that, not the stuff I used to do when I was younger. But my mom just ignores me when I say I want to take dance classes. I really love to dance, even though i'm not pro yet, and i'm not flexible so I dont know if that would be a disadvantage. But please!! How can I convince her I want to do dance classes again?? And do you know any cheap dance places around New England?

Do u speak with and accent? anyway sounds like u need (oh btw im 13 and just convinced my mom a few months ago to start me dancing again! :)) alright and ummm oh ya! you need to sit down with your mommy and have a conversation with her tell her u need to get out of the house u want to do recitals (most dance places have recitals) and you want her to watch u dance just beg and plead you can do it say "mom, all i want for my birthday/Christmas is for you to sign me up in dance" just dont stop asking you can do it! :D oh and i dont know any cheap classes sorry :(

stretch, get flexible, practice and the sit down with your mom and tell her how hard you've worked and how much it would mean to you if she let you join dance lessons.

research some studios on your own, figure out what classes you want to take and how much it would cost, and save up some money to contribute. that way, you're not just sitting in front of the tv watching a dance show saying "mom, i want to take dance!" you're saying "hey mom, i want to take 'these' lessons. they are on 'this' and 'that' day at 'this' time and it costs 'this much' per month. oh, and i've already saved up 'this' much to help. as for finding studios near you, just google your area and dance studios.. lots will come up. from there, look up the faculty's credentials and make sure they are legit. good luck!
