How do you grind dance?

I am a girl and I'm in high school. my school doesn't grind much but I'm going to a party for another school and they do. I don't and have never grinded. I don't want answers like you shouldn't. I just need to know how. please? and thank you! I mostly want to know how to not look like an idiot. and how do you know if the guys wants to grind if he asks you to dance? I feel awkward when dancing but I need to know how by Saturday.
