How do you learn a back walkover at home?

I want to learn to do gymnastics at home, but I'm not flexible and I have no other experience?

  • Nothing really hard, just a front/front walkover, handsprings, round offs... that's pretty much it. I kind of know how to do a round off but it's not perfect and whenever I do it, I hurt my back leg muscles really badly because I'm as flexible as a rock =/ I live an hour or more away from any place I could learn gymnastics and there's no one in my little town that knows it... could I learn just those simple stuff at home? ALSO, TIPS ON LEARNING THOSE THINGS FOR BEGINNERS WOULD BE APPRECIATED :)

  • Answer:

It's not safe. I would highly recommend you learn at a gymnastics studio.
